    Biography

    MSG Milner Enlisted as an Infantryman in the GA Army National Guard in January 2001, completed One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, GA in December 2001 and graduated the U.S. Army Airborne School in January 2002. He was then assigned to Hotel Company 121st Infantry, Airborne, Long Range Surveillance. While assigned to H Co MSG Milner served as a Scout, Senior Scout, and M60 Machine gunner. In March 2004 MSG Milner enlisted in the Regular Army and attended the 75th Ranger Regiments Ranger Indoctrination Program (RIP).  Upon successful completion of RIP MSG Milner was assigned to C Co 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment where he served as a SAW Gunner and Rifle Team Leader. In January of 2008 MSG Milner was assigned as a founding member of D Co 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment where he served as a Ranger Rifle, Weapons Squad Leader and Head Quarters Platoon Sergeant. In June of 2011 MSG Milner was assigned to HHC 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment where he served as the Battalion Air NCO and Assistant Operations NCO. MSG Milner attended the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program II (RASP II) in January 2015. He was selected to serve as a Ranger Rifle Platoon Sergeant and assigned to 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA.  While assigned MSG Milner served as a Platoon Sergeant in C Co and D Co. In October 2017 MSG Milner was reassigned to C Co 2nd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, GA where he served as the Company First Sergeant during the transition of the unit from an Infantry to Armored Brigade Combat Team. MSG Milner was the C Co 1SG until September of 2019. MSG Milner has been assigned as the University of Delaware ROTC programs Senior Military Instructor since November of 2019. MSG Milner has 12 combat deployments in Support of the Global War on Terror; Eight times to Afghanistan and four times to Iraq.

    Civilian Education

    An Associates of Science in Biology from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. He is currently completing his Bachelors of Science in Professional Aeronautics.
