    Biography

    Master Sergeant (MSG) Eragbai E. Evborokhai enlisted in the U.S Army 2001 and attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) and awarded the MOS 11B (Infantryman) at Fort Benning, GA.

     

    MSG Evborokhai has served in numerous positions to include Rifleman, Automatic Rifleman, Fire Team Leader, Squad Leader, Drill Sergeant, Senior Drill Sergeant, Assistant Operations Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, and First Sergeant. MSG Evborokhai military assignments include 1st Battalion (BN) 1-14 Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks Hawaii; 2ND BN 6TH Infantry Regiment, Baumholder Germany; 1ST BN 79TH Field Artillery, Fort Sill Oklahoma; 2ND BN 35TH Infantry Regiment 25th ID Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; 1ST BN 77TH Armor Regiment (AR), 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss Texas, and the Iron Training Detachment, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas.  MSG Evborokhai has deployed in support of the Global War on Terrorism which includes three deployments to Iraq as a member of Task Force (TF) Dragon 1-14IN, TF Gator 2-6 Infantry Regiment and to Kuwait as TF Steel Tiger 1-77AR.

     

    MSG Evborokhai's  military and civilian education includes Sexual Harassment Assault Response Prevention Course, Warrior Leader Course, Advance Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, Combat Life Saver Course, Basic Life Saver Course, Unit Prevention Leaders Course, Basic Airborne Course, Air Assault Course, Ranger School, Modern Army Combative Programs; Basic and Tactical Level Courses, Army Basic Instructor Course, and Drill Sergeants School.  MSG Evborokhai has also attended foreign courses such as the Malaysian Jungle Warfare Special Course Pulada, Malaysia and Australian Jungle Operations Training Tully, Australia.  MSG Evborokhai holds an Associate Degree in General Studies from Texas Central College and is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in Homeland Security at the University of Maryland University College, Maryland.

     

    His military awards and decorations include Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (5th award), Army Achievement Medal (5th award), Valorous Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Citations (4th award), Army Good Conduct Medal (5th award), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal (one gold star), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon with numeral (3rd award), Army Service ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (5th award), Non-Commissioned Officer Development Ribbon (Numeral 3), Drill Sergeant Badge, Ranger Tab, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Expert Infantryman's Badge, Basic Parachute Badge, Air Assault Badge, Drivers Badge (wheel), Norwegian Foot March Badge, and the German Armed Forces Badge for Weapon Proficiency.  MSG Evborokhai is also a member of The Order of Saint Maurice.

     

    MSG Evborokhai is married to Maribi of Honolulu, Hawaii.  They have two sons (Micah and Everett) and one daughter (Elissa).
