    Biography

    MAJ Aaron S. Black II, Enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1996 as a Petroleum Supply Specialist (77F). After attending Basic Training and AIT, he was assigned to 2nd Armored Calvary Regiment (2ACR) Fort. Polk, LA. During his time on Active Duty, MAJ Black deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina in support of the Stabilisation Force (SFOR) from 1997 – 1998.

    MAJ Black ETS'd from Active Duty in 2000 and Enlisted into the Delaware Army National Guard. He was assigned to the 160th Engineer Company in Middletown, DE. During his time with the Engineer Company, MAJ Black maintained a civilian career with Safeway Food & Drug, while attending College online with the University of Phoenix.

    2006, MAJ Black attended Officer Candidate School (OCS) at Bethany Beach Training Site as an Officer Candidate with the 193rd Regimental Training Institute. Upon completion of OCS, MAJ Black was commissioned as a 2LT on 8 September 2007, branch Signal Corps.

    2013-2014 MAJ Black deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as the BN S1. MAJ Black was responsible for the Administrative actions of 550 Soldiers, spread throughout the Combined Joint Operations Area (CJOA). His primary duty location was Kandahar Airfield (KAF).

    MAJ Black has been married for over 20 years, has four children and is a graduate of Wilmington University with a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management.
